This wine exhibits a dark ruby red in appearance. The wilder elements of the forested site are expressed on the nose, carrying brooding layers of damp earth and bay laurel. Notes of red and black tea edged in bergamot entwine with fragrant hints of dark cherry and blueberry. The palate is complex and alive with a structured tannin showing pure, bright red fruit-raspberry, cranberry, and pomegranate-moving in waves across a silky finish. Blend: 100% Pinot Noir From the remote area of Annapolis, the 2022 Pinot Noir Goldrock Estate pours a youthful magenta hue and is a bit more reserved, but as it begins to open in the glass, it reveals notes of bright mixed berries, wild raspberries, blood orange, and dusty earth. Medium-bodied, it's bright and mouthwatering on the palate, with a juicy feel to flesh out the midpalate and a lovely, sanguine, salty finish.
