Its intensity of flavor and ripeness of fruit make it ideal with high-integrity ingredients such as seared white fish or sautéed spring vegetables. Grüner Veltliner is a classic accompaniment to Wiener Schnitzel. The 2024 Grüner Veltliner Ried Achleiten Smaragd comes from two plots above the Achleiten Tor, on 12 to 15 terraces. The densely planted vines are now about 70 years old. The nose is unusually juicy and vivid, with ripe red-green apple that is fresh and appetizing.
