Description
The 2020 Extra Brut Ludes Vieilles Vignes is a fabulous follow up to the 2019. A blend of 70% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 5% Petit Meslier, the 2020 is sourced from selection of just two hectares of old vines. This opens beautifully on the palate with gorgeous textural presence from the Pinot Noir. White pepper, mint and chalk overtones from the Petit Meslier lift the long, vibrant finish. The 2020 is still recovering from its recent disgorgement about a month before this tasting, but it is incredibly promising. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: February 2026.
