Description

This is a reductive, aromatic style with earthy minerality and dark fruit, showing blackcurrants, freshly ground black pepper and violets. Very vibrant on both the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, this has ripe tannins with refreshing, lifted acidity and a supple finish reminiscent of bright blueberries and black olives. From organically and biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Though firm and focused at first, with air this unveils finely meshed layers of flavor, including chopped blackberry, pomegranate puree, sage, rosemary and crushed pink peppercorn. Mouthwatering acidity, a minerally underpinning and sculpted, limber tannins form a vivid, vervy frame for the fragrant profile, echoing on the long finish.
