Dark fruit and cocoa lead this saturating and brooding bouquet. The palate is similarly intense, a different iteration of Felton Road, but it nevertheless has the openness and immediate silky appeal. Sandalwood, dark chocolate and cranberry lingers on a sustained and immensely impressive finish. Certainly no stage fright in this new performer! This is really beautiful, with ripe strawberries, peaches, slate, smoke and a hint of graphite on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with fine, creamy, velvety tannins and a long, lightly chewy finish with some crunchiness. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. Screw cap. The 2024 MacMuir Pinot Noir is inky and dark, with transparent-feeling fruit on the middle palate and savory/fine tannins that shape the experience.
