This Criolla Chica comes from a small high altitude plot at 1,050 metres in Las Compuertas, Mendoza, and is made with a gentle hand to preserve its delicate, light on its feet character. Serve lightly chilled for its most vivid, refreshing expression. Taste Pale ruby and wonderfully fresh, with wild strawberry, soft floral notes and a citrus lift. Silky tannins and lively acidity make this an elegant, easy flowing red with a finely poised finish. Criolla Chica is a rare heritage variety within Argentina & apos;s broader Criolla family of grapes. Also known as Listán Prieto, it travelled from Spain to South America centuries ago and is related to Chile & apos;s País and California & apos;s Mission grape.
