This sweet Monastrell wine, from the 2010 vintage, has undergone an extended oxidative ageing process for more than 15 years, allowing it to develop remarkable complexity and character over time. It comes from a now-extinct Monastrell vineyard, planted on stony soils and with a north-facing orientation, conditions that helped shape its singular identity. The wine rested for 6 years in concrete tanks, followed by a further 9 years ageing in a 500-litre oak barrel, gaining depth, texture, and nuance throughout its long evolution. The result is a compelling meeting of sensations, where sweetness, freshness, and profound depth are held in elegant balance.
