Additionally, this wood burning fire pit is made from the heaviest gauge steel available, ensuring that you'll have this functional piece of fire pit art for many years in the future. This fire pit is not just a practical fire pit; it is a piece of art in its own right. It has a standard iron oxide patina finish on the outside. The iron oxide patina will darken a little with time before becoming permanent. The inside is coated with a high temperature resistant paint and has a rain drain in the bottom. The standard triad base of the fire pit has an inside weld to give a smooth and clean look on the outside while maintaining the integrity of the piece. The Nepal Fire Pit is hand made in the United States by an experienced artist. He grew up in a Mennonite farming village nestled in the Illinois prairie. He learned many things from the hard working farmers and machinists in the township, including the joining together of metals. Using brazing rods and arc welders, the Mennonites repaired and built their farm equipment. Now dozens of years later, he lives and works with his family on the banks of Barton Creek in the rolling hills of Tennessee. Although the tools he uses in metal sculpture have improved over the years, the core skills learned long ago remain the same. At the Manufacturer's sole discretion, products under warranty will be repaired and/or replaced at no charge to the customer. Any returns sent back must be sent via prepaid freight and in the original retail packaging. Proof of purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered. The sales receipt is the only valid proof of purchase. Failures and/or damage which result from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration or modification, failure to maintain, improper assembly or maintenance, service by unauthorized agency or use of unauthorized components or damage that is attributable to acts of God are NOT covered.
