Capo Lounge Armchair With Manta Espinhada Upholstery This special edition Capo Lounge Armchair is upholstered in a Manta Alentejana, a traditional blanket from the Alentejo region of Portugal with a heritage reaching back over a century. The Espinhada pattern and colourway were designed at the Fabricaal workshop in Reguengos de Monsaraz. The alignment of the pattern across the chair was carefully chosen to achieve the most aesthetically pleasing composition. The Capo is a well-balanced equilibrium between sophistication and utility, between classic and contemporary aesthetic. SPECIFICATION: Available in black walnut, white oak, or ash in a range of finishes. Upholstered in Manta Espinhada, a hand woven traditional blanket from the Alentejo region of Portugal. Leather belting strap arms in black or brown with brass-coloured PVD detailing. See menus below for further material information. This product is compatible with an interliner material that can help comply with local flammability regulations. Crafted at the solar-powered De La Espada factory in Portugal. Designed by a creative partner and rigorously engineered with the support of our in-house product development team and expert craftspeople. Durability, comfort and aesthetics combine for a product that lasts a lifetime. Timber is sustainable solid wood from North America or Europe, offering long-term repairability of the surface. Natural colour and grain variations in every plank make each piece an individual. Traditional wood joinery bonded with wood glue ensures structural integrity. All finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed or rubbed. Textile supplied by a renowned factory dedicated to the production of Mantas Alentejanas in Portugal. Leather sourced from tanneries in Sweden and Italy using only hides from European cattle.
