## Description

The rarity and exceptional preservation of this stunning desk designed by Osvaldo Borsani are out of this world! Created in 1956, it features solid steel legs supporting two movable storage systems. The tabletop is made of solid rosewood, complemented by two mobile drawers, each with its own key and locking system. A standout detail of this desk is that Iconic Muebles has managed to rescue the original black steel waste bin, a component that is almost always missing from Osvaldo Borsani desks today. This piece has developed a patina with spectacular golden and copper hues, making it truly unique. Borsani began working at his family's furniture manufacturing business, Atelier di Varedo, at the age of 16. In 1933, he participated in the Fifth Milan Triennale with the design of the Casa Minima, which earned him a silver medal. In 1953, he founded the company Tecno with his twin brother Fulgenzio, standing out for a design approach rooted in research and technology. Tecno, the company founded by Borsani, became a benchmark in Italian furniture design, producing innovative and functional pieces. Osvaldo Borsani’s legacy lives on through his work and the ongoing success of Tecno, which continues to produce high-quality, innovative furniture.
