## Description

Scarpa Wrangell GTX Backpacking Boots Bronze Medium 39 88004G-Brnz-39. Incorporating a slightly more flexible version of the Vibram M4 tech/Mont sole unit with a durable 2.8mm Crosta Pro HS12 leather upper these bad boys still provide the same level of support and performance that Scarpa is famous for but with a lighter weight and a more compact shape that's easier to manage in the backcountry. Thanks to an improved fit and an increased break-in period the Wrangell GTX becomes a reliable go-to for extended wilderness adventures. In fact most backpackers who purchase a pair of Wrangell GTXs end up using them for everything from bike packing to ice climbing to long distance backpacking trips. Scarpa crafted these shoes with an open comb upper to ensure your feet stay securely anchored into the leather. However the Wrangell GTX doesn't sacrifice on support despite its weight. The TPU fixed rand enhances the torsional strength of this robust boot which allows for powerful nimble movement when you're tackling steep trails and through rivers. These boots are crafted with a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining to keep your feet dry in wet conditions and the Vibram sole ensures you get traction even on the trickiest trails. Whether you're traveling by foot or via a rented mule these boots will provide the support and stability you need to get where you need to go.
