So I was happy to find one with the same style and function , the moat. This moat works really well, not just for ants but other unwanted wasps or yellow jackets. This lovely feeder is made of glass and metal. The only plastic is the ant guard ally the top that is filled with water. My chickadees drink water from that. This feeder has a ring where the birds can sit to drink. The birds will sit for quite a while so I get to watch them for longer.
