## Description

The Lady-Datejust represents Rolex's most prestigious expression of the women's wristwatch, carrying the storied Datejust lineage — the first self-winding waterproof chronometer to display the date — into refined 28mm proportions. Reference 279458RBR, introduced in 2021, sits at the very summit of the collection as a fully gem-set creation, its case, bezel, dial, and bracelet lavished with diamonds. The "RBR" suffix denotes the diamond-set bezel, while the diamond-paved dial elevates the reference into the realm of high jewelry, appealing to collectors who seek the convergence of Rolex's in-house mechanical pedigree with the most opulent factory diamond execution available in the ladies' catalog. The 28mm case in 18-karat yellow gold has its bezel, lugs, and case sides set with brilliant-cut diamonds, framing a diamond-paved dial appointed with 291 diamonds and black Roman numerals, with a date aperture at three beneath the Cyclops lens. The in-house automatic Caliber 2236, equipped with the Syloxi silicon hairspring, delivers a 55-hour power reserve and Superlative Chronometer certification. A diamond-set yellow gold President bracelet with concealed Crownclasp completes the watch.
