## Description

The Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700/11J is one of the most important and historically significant Nautilus references ever produced. As the original “Jumbo” case introduced in the late 1970s, the 3700 established Gérald Genta’s vision of a luxury sports watch in precious metal long before the concept became mainstream. Executed in yellow gold, this reference is far rarer than its stainless steel counterpart and represents an early, bold statement from Patek Philippe during the Nautilus’ formative years. The black ribbed dial is pure first-generation Nautilus, with applied yellow gold baton markers and matching hands that preserve the watch’s minimalist, architectural balance. The slim, monobloc-style case and integrated yellow gold bracelet define the unmistakable Nautilus profile, while the proportions remain exceptionally elegant by modern standards. The 3700/11J is coveted not just for its scarcity, but for its role as the purest expression of the original Nautilus concept—untouched, iconic, and foundational to the entire collection. *This timepiece comes with a photocopy of the original papers, and a Patek Philippe Travel Pouch.
