Its warm glow gives rise to childhood memories of sitting around a campfire enamored by a comforting glow, yet its simple and refined design blends into any contemporary space. The base of the lamp is heavy, and its wood grain glows in natural or illuminated light. The wood is carefully selected from either a cool brown walnut or a warm toned teak. It is hand cut and oil finished with the utmost care. The lampshade is handmade through a multi-day process of steam bending the wood rim and oiling custom warm toned parchment paper. Unlike traditional lampshades, the oiled paper process allows light to permeate its semi-translucent sides, creating a warm soft glow in all directions. Brass elements are used to hold dual light bulbs to a perfect height to set the mood. Their golden metallic brass is a subtle detail that is only noticeable only when passing close-by.
