## Description

The Lampampe from Ingo Maurer is an iconic, sculptural table lamp designed in 1980 that reimagines the traditional lampshade silhouette entirely out of fragile, beautiful paper. Breaking away from the rigid plastic trends of its era, this piece sits beautifully on the boundary between functional utility and pure gallery art. Handcrafted from fine, translucent Japanese rice paper stretched over a minimal metal inner framework. The paper features intentional crinkles and creases, turning natural texture into an artistic shadowing element that ensures no two lamps are completely identical. Light Source: 1 x Max. 100W E27 LED bulb (not included) Dimmable: No (on/off switch on cable) Materials: Metal + Paper
