## Description

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I love this jacket for days when I want real on-mountain performance without giving up style. It’s warm enough for cold chairlift rides, blocks snow well, and still looks great for après. The cropped length surprised me in a good way—it pairs well with bibs and doesn’t feel restrictive when skiing." We reach for the Cold Spell Cropped Down Jacket when winter days blur the line between ski laps and mountain-town plans. Designed by The North Face, this jacket delivers the warmth and protection we need for snowy resort days while leaning into a bold, cropped silhouette that stands out long after the lifts close. From first chair to fireside drinks, it keeps us comfortable and confident in changing conditions. Behind the style is a serious weather-fighting build. A DryVent 2-layer shell blocks wet snow, while 550-fill responsibly sourced down keeps core warmth locked in. Heatseeker Eco insulation in the hood and underarms trims bulk where we don’t need it, and features like underarm vents, wrist gaiters, and a removable powder skirt let us fine-tune comfort whether we’re skiing hard or strolling through town.
