## Description

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:“I reach for this when the forecast is ugly and I know I’ll be riding lifts all day. The insulation takes the edge off cold chairs, and the GORE-TEX shell keeps wind and snow from sneaking in. It feels purpose-built for storm days, not a shell that needs constant layering adjustments.”Storm days don’t leave much room for compromise, and the Lofoten GORE-TEX Insulated Jacket is built for those lifts-spinning, visibility-dropping days when staying warm and dry keeps us riding longer. Designed by Norrona for freeride-focused skiing and snowboarding, this jacket is meant to handle sustained snowfall, biting wind, and cold temperatures without demanding constant layer changes. It’s the layer we trust when conditions turn fully winter. A 2-layer GORE-TEX laminate provides waterproof, breathable protection, while recycled synthetic insulation adds steady warmth without feeling bulky or sluggish. The durable recycled nylon face fabric resists abrasion from chairlift laps and in-bounds terrain, and fully sealed seams block moisture from every angle. Venting options help manage heat when effort ramps up, while the helmet-compatible hood, powder skirt, and pocket layout keep everything functional and organized on the hill.
