## Description

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I like the Skimmer 2L because it’s easy for kids to wear all day—warm, protective, and not too bulky. The Room-to-Grow system is a game changer, giving the jacket an extra season of life, and the powder skirt and helmet-compatible hood keep snow where it belongs."We count on the Burton Skimmer 2L Jacket to keep our kids happy, warm, and dry whether they’re learning turns on the bunny hill or chasing us through spring slush. Burton’s DRYRIDE waterproof-breathable fabric shields from wet snow and chairlift drips, while fully sealed seams ensure no moisture sneaks through. ThermacoreECO insulation, made from recycled materials, traps heat without weighing them down so they can keep playing longer. Designed with both fun and function in mind, the Skimmer 2L includes all the features we’d want in our own jackets. A helmet-compatible hood with an elastic gaiter stays snug during storms, a fixed powder skirt keeps snow out on deep days, and a thoughtful pocket layout holds passes, snacks, and tunes. Thanks to Burton’s Room-to-Grow system, sleeves can extend to match growth spurts, giving the jacket extra longevity.
