## Description

A pair of nightstands from the 1940's. The nightstands are in an oak wood with patinated brass pulls. In good original condition with light wear on the wood from age and use. Each nightstand features one drawer above and an open compartment below. The interiors are clean and the drawers glide smooth. The botanical flora illustrations on the cabinet are from the 1920's second edition of the Swedish book 'C.A. Lindman's "Bilder ur Nordens Flora"'. These are the same edition illustrations that Josef Frank used on his 1950's flora cabinets. Each individual picture has been wallpapered by hand. They are in very good condition showing only minor wear and slight color variances due to aging towards the edges of each illustration. The colors are still vibrant and papers show no loss.
