## Description

Condition: Expertly Refinished With over 15 years of experience, our workshop has followed a careful process of restoration, showcasing our passion and creativity for vintage designs that can seamlessly be incorporated with many interior decors. Enjoy! :) Style: Danish Modern Materials: Walnut, Brass Accents This expertly refinished Mid-Century Danish Modern executive desk by Gunnar Schwartz, crafted in the 1960s, is a striking example of Scandinavian design. Built in rich walnut with subtle brass accents, the desk showcases a clean-lined silhouette supported by tapered legs and elegantly sculpted drawer pulls. Functionality is at the forefront with a bank of three drawers on the left and a deep file drawer on the right, offering ample storage for both work and organization. The finished back panel allows this piece to float beautifully in an office, making it equally practical and decorative. With its timeless form and fine craftsmanship, it embodies the understated elegance of Danish Modern design. Fun Historical Fact: During the 1960s, Danish furniture exports surged worldwide, and desks like this one often found homes in executive offices across Europe and America. Gunnar Schwartz was among the designers contributing to this boom, blending minimalism with function in a way that appealed to the international market. Denmark’s dedication to craftsmanship and quality materials during this period helped establish “Danish Modern” as a global design movement.
